About Stephen Michell

Stephen Michell is an insolvency and business reconstruction specialist with extensive experience. Known for his clear thinking and highly developed technical skills, he has undertaken a wide range of complex and challenging business reconstruction, turnaround, and workout assignments. This has included the detailed and ultimately successful restructure of a multinational manufacturing business to help ensure its ongoing viability. This significant task required detailed and at times highly sensitive discussions and negotiations with a range of stakeholders, including employees, trade unions, banks, and creditors. The successful completion of this task remains a testament to Stephen’s outstanding negotiation and analytical skills.

As part of his role, Stephen has often been closely involved with the hands-on management of businesses in serious financial difficulty, and he brings to this challenging role an approach that is clearly focused on achieving practical and measurable results that are purely focused on improving a businesses’ ongoing viability. He has also been heavily involved in personal and corporate insolvency, and has developed a strong reputation for working closely with his clients to allow for an orderly wind up of their financial affairs.
